Helga Piñones Haltenhoff

OWNER | U12 DIRECTOR

Together with her brother Victor, Helga Piñones Haltenhoff owns the Giammalva Racquet Club & Elite Academy, where she also serves as the Director of the Under 12 program. She began working full-time in 2017 and has been an owner for 3 years as of July. Helga has been immersed in tennis her entire life, competing since the age of 9. She played professionally for several years and earned a full scholarship to play college tennis. With her background in Psychology, Helga brings a unique approach to player development.

EDUCATIONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

Helga holds a college degree and an ATP Certification. She was top player in Spain, ranked in the top 8 in the USA, and led her team to win the National Championship in 2016.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPERTISE

Helga’s focus is on the 12 & Under program. She ensures effective communication with parents, promotes the program, and understands the different levels of each child to provide tailored coaching. Helga designs the daily program, manages administrative tasks, and guides kids through the USTA system for competition. Her leadership, passion, and joy drive the vision of making young athletes fall in love with tennis.

Helga also oversees new projects, including daycare and a tennis lessons in another location called Gleannloch Farms. Her goal is to expand the academy while maintaining a strong foundation for the kids, aiming to be recognized as the best academy in Texas.

PERSONAL INSIGHTS

Helga finds joy in making a positive impact on children’s lives. She values communication, preferring face to face interactions to stay connected!

OUTSIDE WORK

Helga enjoys playing padel, spending time with family, and training for marathons. She believes in the values of hard work, discipline, and commitment.

FUTURE GOALS

Helga is dedicated to creating a vibrant and welcoming environment for the kids at the academy. She strives to improve and evolve with tennis to provide the best experiences for her students.
